Frozen T-Shirt
Tug-of-War
4 Man Push-ups
- Coordinate with VC Program about event specifics such as location, event set-up time, etc.
- Provide a minimum of four (4) arrowmen to assist with set-up prior to the event on Saturday
- This competition requires 2 specific Arrowmen from each lodge: the Lodge Chief and the Lodge Adviser or their designees.
- Each team will be given a can of Spam or mystery item from which they must remove the Spam (or mystery) itself.
- The two team members must throw the Spam (or mystery) back and forth, backing up one step after each throw back and forth. The Section Chief or his designee will ensure that equal steps are taken by each team. The Chief will throw to the Adviser to start the game.
- If a team’s Spam (or mystery) is dropped or breaks up into pieces too small to throw, that team is out. Final ruling is up to the Section Chief or his designee.
- The last team who still have a tossable Spam (or mystery) will win.
Materials required: 6 cans of Spam
- This competition requires 7 Arrowmen from each lodge.
- Each team will be given one half of a rope that has a flag attached several feet from the middle of the rope.
- Each team is allowed to pick up their half of the rope prior to the start of the round, but may not begin pulling.
- Once the start is given, each team must pull back to try to force the other team’s flag across the middle line.
- The first team to pull the opposing team’s flag across the middle line will win that round.

- The first member must put on the unrolled shirt. He/she then must run to a designated point and then run back. He/she will then tag in the second team member who must take the shirt and put it on, before running the same route. He/she will then tag in the third and final teammate who will do the same.
- The first lodge to have their third team member return to the starting line will win.

- Objective: The goal is for players to soak the sponge in a full bucket, run to the empty bucket, and squeeze the water into it. The team that fills their empty bucket first wins!
- Starting the Game: The first player from each team runs to the full bucket, dips the sponge into the water, and then sprints back to their team's empty bucket.
- Passing the Sponge: Once the player reaches the empty bucket, they squeeze the sponge to release as much water as possible into the bucket, then run back to the full bucket.
- Relay Style: The next teammate is up after the player returns to the starting point. They then repeat the process, continuing the relay until the designated time is up or one team fills their bucket first.
- Winning: The first team to fill their bucket with water wins the game!
Materials required: Large Kiddie pool, 6 small buckets, 6 large sponges
- Teamwork is Key: The team must collaborate to get everyone across the rope bridge. If the participants are crossing individually, the others may assist by giving guidance, offering encouragement, or providing support from the ground.
- Balancing on the Rope: Each participant must walk across the rope, balancing on it with both feet, without touching the ground. They can use the handrail (if provided) or the side ropes for extra stability, but the main goal is to stay on the rope itself.
- Safety Check: It’s important to monitor the safety of the participants. Depending on the height and difficulty, ensure they are using appropriate gear (like helmets or harnesses) or the setup is safe for their level of ability.
- Team Crossing: If more than one person is crossing at a time, they may need to help each other across, offering tips on how to balance or supporting them by holding onto the ropes.
- Finish: Once all participants have crossed, the team has successfully completed the Rope Bridge challenge. The lodges will send teams of 10.
